Oli - Moli

Each and every night ,Olivia is negotiating with me about bed time reading. Here is the question : How many books to be red?



Oli:" Mommy let's pick 7 books"

Me:"Olivia 7 is too many ,lets have 5 please"

Oli: How about 4 :-))

Me: Sure !!



Then we count -1-2-3-4 .I say "We have 4 books Okay? let's go and read them "

She starts adding more books on top of the book pile on the floor while I am trying to convince her to stick with the number.Then she is saying "More pleaseee!!!" anxciously.Finally we end up carrying 10 books to our bed. Oli gets 1 ,I carry remaining 9 :-))



Yesterday I was not feeling good enough to read books and wanted to go and sleep right away and told her that today we may sleep without reading or Reha can read for her instead of me.



She was standing on the floor holding her dog and bay ( her blankie-loveys ) suddenly a sorrow washed her face



" How about reading only 4 books and nursing and sleep.Is it a GOOD PLAN?" she said anxciously .I sow her face trying hard not to cry out loud.



I was so touched and said "Yes it sounds like a great plan let's go for it" and we DID.



I was so touched and I think I will always remember her expression for ever.BECAUSE whenever I feel that I need to convince her for something that she may not except I say.



" I have and idea ,how about doing ------? Does it sound like a good plan ?


She managed to put her feet in my shoes and convince me.HOW COULD I NOT EXCEPT ..IT WAS A GREAT PLAN INDEED

We were laying jump -jump with Olivia .She is instructing me when to jump and when to fall down.She said jump and I jumped -Again jump and jumped.She said fall down and fell down herself.I was so into the play that I kept saying fall down while myself falling down.Suddenly Oli got serious and sat down on the carpet and looked at me with a face and said:



" Why are you saying fall down ,I fell down already??" :-))))
